The Weld-R Laser Fume Extractor is a portable, plug-and-play laser welding fume extractor that captures ultrafine particles at the source and recirculates clean air back into your workspace. It combines a high-efficiency prefilter with a 99.999% @ 0.3 micron HEPA filter to deliver clean, compliant, and dependable ventilation for laser welding.

Weld-R Fume Extractor Features
High-Efficiency HEPA and Prefilter for Laser Welding
F9 Pre-filter: The prefilter removes most submicronic respirable dust before it reaches the HEPA. As a result, it reduces strain, prevents premature clogging, and extends filter life. The robust aluminum cartridge resists bypass, while the high-surface-area mini-pleat media delivers capacity and efficiency for laser welding applications.
HEPA filter (99.999% @ 0.3 micron): The HEPA captures the most penetrating particle size and, moreover, traps both smaller and larger particles even more effectively. Therefore, you get extremely clean air free of respirable dust. The rigid aluminum cartridge prevents bypass, and the mini-pleat media ensures consistent performance.
Both filters are included as standard.

FREE-FLO Extraction Arm for Local Exhaust Ventilation
Leverage the blower’s power with a free-flowing 8 in diameter arm that helps maintain OSHA-compliant capture velocity over a longer working range. Compared to a 6 in duct, an 8 in duct moves air more freely for faster capture and smoother flow.
Because the arm’s mechanical structure stays external to the duct, there are no obstructions in the airstream. Consequently, velocity stays higher, joints move more freely, and components last longer in abrasive welding fume environments.
In addition, easily accessible exterior friction adjustments enable quick positioning. With unique anti-slip adjustments, joints hold tension without bolt loosening. The lightweight design requires less effort to position and stays put without sagging.

Integrated Pressure Gauge for Filter Change Timing
The easy-to-read analog pressure gauge tells you when to change filters. Therefore, there is no guesswork, and you maintain optimal airflow and filtration.

Powerful 1.5 HP Blower Motor
The 1.5 HP blower provides the airflow you need to achieve OSHA-compliant capture velocity during welding. In addition, the heavy-duty motor delivers reliable performance shift after shift.
Spark Arrestor for Added Safety
The steel mesh spark arrestor helps prevent sparks and embers from exiting into the environment. It sits in front of the prefilter, after a spark baffle chamber located just aft of the blower impeller. You can remove the mesh for quick cleaning, which helps you maintain airflow and safety.
